An exceptional late 18th century Georgian Welsh oak potboard dresser, presenting magnificent historical character, scale, and a rich, deeply oxidised dark patina. This classic piece of British country furniture beautifully bridges utilitarian historical purpose with timeless rustic elegance, making it a commanding focal point for modern or traditional interiors alike. Features an open three tier configuration anchored by a deeply molded crown cornice and an elegantly scrolled, wave shaped frieze apron. Configured with a beautifully proportioned arrangement of three drawers over a central a smaller drawer, all fitted with authentic antique brass swan neck handles. Supported by elegant, ring turned baluster front legs and square rear stiles, terminating in a full length, low slung solid timber potboard shelf historically used for heavy kitchen ironware. Structurally robust and completely sound, exhibiting a highly desirable, untouched surface finish. Displays honest age related and historic wear expected of a 200+ year old oak piece, all adding immense soul and provenance. All drawers operate smoothly.
