Victorian Antique Marble Top Mahogany Washstand

A beautiful, characterful antique washstand featuring a stunning white and grey veined marble top with a matching raised gallery back. The rich brown wood showcases attractive natural grain, complemented by traditional turned wooden handles and elegant, curved detailing.

The piece features a practical arrangement of drawers on either side, with a central open knee space, making it both a striking decorative feature and a functional piece of furniture. The shaped apron, stepped plinth bases and polished appearance give it a wonderful sense of traditional craftsmanship.

The marble surface and raised back add to its period charm, making it an ideal statement piece for a country house, traditional bathroom, bedroom, dressing room or characterful interior.

The piece has an attractive, aged appearance, with natural variations in the wood grain and signs of wear consistent with an older piece of furniture. Please refer to the photographs for a closer look at its condition.
