This antique Victorian mahogany pedestal mirror-back sideboard is a grand mid-19th century piece, typically dating to around 1850.

It features a twin pedestal layout with a recessed central section which has a central drawer. The pedestals are raised on continuous plinth bases.

The pedestals house spacious cupboards, traditionally used for storing fine tableware and linens. One side has sliding trays and the other a cupboard section and a large deep drawer with a brass handle.

A stunning long, rectangular foxed mirror plate is set into a beautiful curved frame, which can be detached for easier transport.

The piece exhibits a rich patina developed over time, with the mahogany's russet tones highlighted by a wax polish finish.
